Beginning in January, 2023, during our 10 AM Mass, Fr. Brian invites children aged 3 to 6 to participate in Children’s Liturgy of the Word. For the duration of the Liturgy of the Word, the children will listen to simplified versions of Sunday’s readings, sing songs, and participate in activities that help them to grasp the meaning of the Gospel from that Sunday. Liturgy of the Word concludes as the Liturgy of the Eucharist begins, and the children rejoin their parents.
Fr. Brian invites those who are curious about Catholicism, and those who are completely new to it, to attend his OCIA class on Wednesdays, from September through May. Class meets in the basement of the church, known as McCaddon Hall, from 6:30–8:30 PM. This class is a favorite of many, because of the passion teaching style of Fr. Brian—there is no doubt he loves his faith. Fr. Brian has more than two decades of in-depth Biblical knowledge, which he cannot wait to share! Fall in love with more than two thousand years of rich history and tradition. Most of all, learn how much The Father loves you, and how far He’ll go to be with you.
Join us every third Thursday of the month at 7 PM for a beautiful celebration of the Holy Mass amidst striking candlelight. A priest will be on hand to hear confessions at 6 PM, as well. Weather permitting, this Mass will take place by the grotto during the warmer months, and we’ll move Mass inside Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic when the temperature drops. After Candlelight Mass, you are invited to join us for a social, to meet other parishioners, eat some food, and make some friends! This is a reception with drinks and appetizers offered in the fall and spring after the 4:30 PM Mass. It’s an opportunity for new parishioners to gather together to meet other parishioners, as well as for them to meet Fr. Hosted by the Visiting the Sick & Homebound Ministry, a Healing Mass is offered twice a year. This is an opportunity, especially for those who have a chronic or terminal illness and would like to receive an anointing.* It is also an opportunity to pray for those who are ill. *It is advised that you receive the sacrament of confession within a few days of being anointed if possible. We will try to make this available before or after the Mass, but please plan accordingly!
The parish and school community gather together to celebrate the beginning of the school year! The Knights of Columbus fire up the grill and parishioners bring their favorite dishes to share. The day is spent in the sunshine by the grotto, eating great food, meeting new friends, and playing games! For more information, email below!
Held traditionally at the end of September on parish grounds, this is a fundraiser for Lourdes Classical School. Oktoberfest has everything! It has bouncy houses and games for children, a real biergarten for adults, and Fr. Brian wears Lederhosen! For more information, email below!

This is the main fundraiser for Lourdes Catholic Classical. Its goal is to close the tuition gap for every family in need at Lourdes! It is held around the end of February or beginning of March, Lourdes’ Saints & Scholars Gala is an opportunity for the school to raise funds for the coming school year.
