Visiting the Sick and the Homebound
“I was sick and you visited me. ”
-Matthew 25: 36
The Visiting the Sick and Homebound Ministry visits those who are homebound, at Porter hospital or at Porter Place. Some people just need one or two visits while recovering from a surgery, while others arrange weekly visitors. Some people want to receive Holy Communion every visit, and some people may just want a visitor who will pray with them. Each is dependent upon the individual’s needs. In order to minister Holy Communion on a visit you first have to attend one of the semi-annual trainings at Lourdes. Fill out the interest form above for more information.
Ushers & Greeters
Lourdes is a growing parish, and we want to make it a warm and welcoming place! Help us to do that! If you like meeting people and making people feel welcome, sign up to be an usher or greeter for Mass. Ushers assist with seating people, the offertory collection, and passing out of bulletins. Greeters help with welcoming people at each entryway and our coffee & doughnut ministry.

Parents in Prayer
During the school year, parents join together to pray for the parish and school community after the weekly all-school Mass. Consider becoming a part of this ministry to build community and to intercede for Lourdes and those in need!
Events are a big part of our parish life. If you have been to our parish picnic, or Gathering at the Grotto then you have seen that they are a great opportunity for community and evangelization. It takes a great team to have a great event. We need you to make it happen! If you are interested fill out the interest form above.
